i have been to the swamp a few times and gone in the home end, but after last season i doubt i will bother again - it really is a horrible experience made worse by having to walk out with those smug bastards at full time after city have lost . good luck , just talk in a cockney accent and you should have no problems but pointing out that carlos (you just do not fit into our system)tevez has nearly scored 50 goals for city in just over 17 months is probably not a good idea ? - i shall be watching on tv where i can shout and swear as much as i like !

Watched City from the United end more often than the City end at Old Trafford. There are far more intimidating grounds.

Came to blows and got broken up with a cockney once in the Stretford End corporate seats, the FA Cup game we lost 2-1 in 96.

Was also in the old Stretford End Seats and we got a "City!" chant going a few years before that. They were going mad in the terracle below but no trouble, just gesturing.

I can understand it if the game was not on TV live and could understand it even more in the days when not only was it not on TV live but not on a shitty internet stream live but i cannot understand how anyone can go and watch the derby in the home end.

This is my fate next Saturday. I'll be a blue in the rags den. Any survival tips welcome.

I'll keep my eyes open for any blues polluting our end.

I don't know how you do it to be honest. I'd rather watch it in the pub than watching it in your end. No chance I could keep quiet.

Because I love my club and want to be there.

I've say in dozens of home ends through the years.

Better that than not be there.

I was in there one night match when we drew 1-1 ours was a penalty, loads of blues stood at the back of the stand.
