Water at tomorrow’s game | 500ml clear disposable water bottle allowed in the ground.

Well the first part of the water saga went okay, they allowed the bottles in. I'd just finished my bottle so was going to wait until halftime for a refill. The bloke behind me came back and said they were refusing to fill the bottles up. That was that. An absolute disgrace in that heat. I thought south stand level 1 had been refurbished, it was exactly the same where I was. They said pre game the bars would be open at full time to relax, have a beer and top up water bottles. They were all shut.
Everything apart from the stuff that happens on the grass at our club is a fucking joke. An insult to fans.

If we weren’t so successful on the pitch we should be protesting at this shit.

The club actively hate match going fans.

Worst thing I saw was the queues around ‘W’ entrance (CB1) lots of wheelchair users and people with other disabilities absolutely baking in the sun, I had to jump out of the queue & approach two coppers for their help in getting these people some shade, “nothing we can do” numpties, approached the stewards who didn’t have a clue, so I just waved these people to the front and into the shade, they then sent the helpers back in the queue, then expected the people in wheelchairs to get themselves into the ground, clueless, before relenting and holding the queue to get these people out of the sun & into the ground

I saw that fiasco pre game before I walked around to the south stand, barriers everywhere for some reason.

I just don't understand why they didn't have loads of stewards just handing out bottles of water. It's not every game we get 30+ degrees heat, surely we can run to the expense for freak temperatures?

No problems getting in with a bottle of water that I had frozen and remained nicely chilled through out the game. But ended up letting my father drink it as he wasn't feeling too great in the heat. Massive queues at the bar so couldn't really get him a drink from there.

They need to get some water fountains in place.
We took 3x 500ml frozen bottles in which were perfect too drink by half time. Definitely a plan for future hot games. CTID

It's fucking demoralising. We just know it's going to be a fuck up before they put anything into practice and sadly we're rarely wrong.

The nob heads on the doors at Mary Ds were confiscating Peoples water bottles, my missus had just bought two unopened bottles small ones and he said you will have to leave them at the door and hope they are then when you come out, fortunately one of them saw sense and let us through
They've got a cheek, when I went in there they used to put enough of it in the fucking beer!

I used the xylem water tower near entrance W. Can’t complain about that water was cold. Could’ve done with a few of them around the ground.

My Season ticket is now on the third tier CB without doubt the worst queues I’ve seen in the stadium to get a drink. Very poor layout given such a small space, maybe worse because everyone wanted a drink in the heat will see next time.

I think it's so it isn't as dangerous if thrown from the stands.

Full bottle with cap on versus one with cap off.
They make you remove tops off bottles if you take own in but not if you buy their overpriced bottles! Doesn’t make sense like many city ideas over the years. Fireworks in a heatwave for instance !!!
