Water at tomorrow’s game | 500ml clear disposable water bottle allowed in the ground.

The sudden and very noticeable direction of travel in global temperatures suggests otherwise but I do get your point. Apparently it will be pissing down here on Monday and Tuesday

Yes red hot days like today are rare at games. Anyone remember that freak one at Blackburn away under the tin roof in November?

The fact that they are rare and this one was easy to predict shows the club in an even worse light in how they dealt with it. Lots of stations with free water given out should have been done. Easy.

They make you remove tops off bottles if you take own in but not if you buy their overpriced bottles! Doesn’t make sense like many city ideas over the years. Fireworks in a heatwave for instance !!!
Nazis, seriously this is an infringement of your human rights. We are not animals we are human beings. We should be able to eat drink what we want within reason take meds and sun cream in. When I went to Maine Rd I took what I wanted into a game.

Well got my bottle inside with a top on, but after asking 3 Stewards in SS3 no fucking water to refill.

They suggested joining the bar queue to perhaps get some....love the club but that's fucking dire.
Same here, SS lower got in ok with my bottle of water but couldn't find anywhere to refill, ask a couple of stewards they didn't have clue either, eventually went to new bar and ask the girl for a refill, she said that there water dispensers around the concourse, I told her she couldn't find them so she asked some suit behind the bar and he told her just to give me a carton for free.

Does anybody know if this was a record temperature at a home game - it was 32 - the club should be ashamed.
It was hotter than that pitchside. It was an awful experience sat in ESL1 in that Sun all game. Not a hint of a breeze, easily 38°C in the lower bowl.

One of my least favourite days ever watching football, yesterday. Hated almost every minute of it and was so glad to get out of the stadium and out of the Sun after the game.

As per my previous answer they did exactly that in EL1 but maybe because that is the stand that got the worst of the direct sun beatdown and also where the most obvious, medic-intervention casualties of the weather were. As I said a few people were carried out and plenty more who were able staggered out under their own steam.
It was a genuine health emergency
fair enough, sounds horrific, I was in SSL3 which was in full shade

I saw two people faint. Stewards didn’t have a clue what to do.
Some lady behind us fainted at 1/2 time. The stewards on the pitch were too busy fucking about in the sprinklers and the ones pitchside seemed to be in spore or had had a Bucket Bong before clocking on. Finally got the attention of what seemed to be a supervisor on the pitch who mouthed a medic is on the way and He then finished his Gene Kelly routine. the medic never turned up and the fans got her out to the concourse.we got a keeler.JPG
