Watford (A) Post-Match Thread

We were shit first 30 minutes, didn’t have a single chance and was very similar to the arsenal and Southampton games we had all the ball and created nothing.

Then the two wide men switched and suddenly we were a threat again and the chances came.

This game will have been worthwhile if Pep has seen that and chooses to go back to natural footed wide men instead of inverted wingers. Cancelo impressive on both sides, Bernardo tireless in midfield and every time Foden touches it his drive and desire to make something happen is refreshing. Much more to take from this game than I anticipated pre-match

Good performance, albeit against a poor Watford side. Another masterclass from Kev andSterling was on fire tonight ( hopefully this form will continue in the Madrid game)

This performance sums up City this season, brilliant against the weaker sides but come up short against the top sides.

Shades of the 16/17 win at Watford, where it looks like we've sorted our shit out.

Good to see Cancelo play well on the left.

Good performance. Good movement with attacking runs. Cancelo oddly better on the left.

Professional performance.

More movement, intensity, switching of players..... everything that was missing on Saturday.

What Ford were absolutely shite though.

Sunday has things on it now..... Kev assists.....Eddy GG.....100 Goals.....Raz GB.

Win 4 nil and the game still shows what we are up against with certain officials inc Oliver. Every touch by us was a free kick, and the non penalty for handball was a joke but not surprising with him and handball decisions against us, see also Spurs and Dippers. Amazing all 3 calls went against us heh

I wish that midfield had played the last game.

so much more pace, pressing and quicker passing. Rodri, cancelo and foden were fantastic
