And what makes you think I didn't know that? Not sure he was being entirely serious...
Mind the gap.
What's the DIAS song they've been singing for about half an hour?
In a weird way the abuse he received at Villa has maybe woke him up. No going back now. Time to kick on. Played well but should have scored at least 1 of those chances. We are truly blessed to witness the way we play.
Great signs from Jack today - there will be big moments ahead for him and his link up play with Phil was a joy to behold. Also good that Kev was eased back and that Raheem is back to form - we need them all with the AFCON coming up.
He does this even when he's not on the top of his game. He can squirm through a defence, they know he can and if it comes off once in three or four, we have players who can put away the chance. When he's on his game he terrifies a defence.Great performances from everyone. Good to have Grealish, Foden and de Bruyne back, perhaps match sharp Grealish & Foden might have scored the chances they had - like Bernardo did - what a player.
As to Raheem - he scares defences to bits and that creates all sorts of opportunities for everyone else, and took his goal well - a month or so ago he might have missed that. Raheem is back - that means he will often frustrate - but he's our frustration and I love to see him in our team.
Not that I’m comparing our team to England’s as we’re miles better but it’s a similar sort of thing that England had in the 2000s when Lampard and Gerrard were the two best midfielders but England always seemed to be better when either one of them played with Barry.I just can't help wondering — and I've thought this in the past, more than once — whether he doesn't express himself fully precisely because Kev is on the pitch.
“Sad fucking life” - living in Somerset - of course I’m serious - HELP !!!Not sure he was being entirely serious...
I thought he was brilliant today. Yes he didn’t convert a couple of chances but his overall game was very good and he is showing he’s getting his head round how we operate. He’s got a lot of stick but Grealish was very good today. Unlucky not to grab a couple goals and he’s just so much better centrally
We are the best team in the world up to the final third. We will find a suitable striker after which we will dominate the game for the next two years.
Excellent first half performance. Subs seem to unbalance us but never in doubt. What’s the song boys?
Off topic slightly when’s the 3rd round draw ?“Sad fucking life” - living in Somerset - of course I’m serious - HELP !!!
Glad Yeovil Town won in the FA Cup today on the BBC. Would love them to draw City in Third round. We have never ever ever played Yeovil in our long and illustrious history.
