As Pep said City wanted VAR and it was not approved for this season.

Besides that, a valuable 3 points. We woke up in the second half. After having the week off it took us a while to get going. In the end class told.

Plus with VAR we would have at least two extra points from the draw with ......who was it at the start of the season that handbaledl the ball into the net for a 1-1 draw with us????...Liverpool would probably have a few less and we would have still won the game today!

Just out of interest, is that rule about having to stay a metre away from a defending wall already in effect? I noticed that the Watford players weren't crowding our wall like teams normally do at the end.

If we scaped past 1-0 i can understand but we dispatched watford 3-1 and had plenty of chances to make it more.
The team looks a bit legged, especially in the first half. hopefully the int break gives them enough rest for the final push.

& if it was the other way round he’d be saying he’s not live until the attacker touches the ball, would love to see stats on Walton’s opinion every time he’s asked on our decisions. I’m sure they’d match his ref performances.
