Too much of a politician, for me. I'd have just said, Liverpool didn't want VAR, so fuck 'em. You reap what you sow.
 
I was amazed when our first goal was allowed but then I was certainly not level with the play and I was some considerable distance away. It seems that Sterling was "played onside" by a Watford defender and so the referee was right to award the goal - unless Sterling was active enough to pressure the defender by his presence into playing the ball, in which case the referee could have disallowed the goal. There is a perfectly justified case to do either and the ref's decision was a matter of interpretation. I would have been furious if such a decision had gone against us, but it wouldn't be the first time. This is entirely different from, for example, the goal Liverpool were awarded against West ham. The goal should have been disallowed. However the offside law is interpreted that goal should have been disallowed. The decision to allow Liverpool's goal was simply and completely wrong. And that won Liverpool a point they did not deserve and should not have had. But I know which goal will arouse the anger of the media...
 
First half we moved the ball to slow, but second half the tempo was better and the passing was quicker and slicker. Vinny was very assured overall and can still do a job when required.

Great win and Watford got what they deserved absolutely zilch. Pleased for Raz and he is now only 3 goals off Serge in the League.

Come on Burnley please get something to tomorrow.

Vinny wasn’t great in the last 20. Deeney gave him all sorts of problems.

It would be brilliant if we win the league and Sterling wins the Golden Boot to rub it in!

Strange game. For the first 15 minutes I was fearing the worst, it just wasn't clicking and them time wasting bastards were making me think they were going to hit us on the counter attack and win 0-1 (old memories die hard) It wasn't the greatest first half but hey ho,they killed that half. Second half was a different story; slick attacking football and our BOOM BOOM 2 early goals took the game away from them in a nadgers blink. It would of been nice to score a few more because we did have the chances,but I would of settled with 3-1 at the start and I'm very happy because I had a few quid on it. It's over to the tramps now and let's see how they handie the pressure. Happy Stretch CTID

Vinny bit shaky when Deeney came on but prior to that he was excellent.

City win the the League and Raz wins golden boot, que apoplectic Dippers en masses.
 
We looked like we’d been so used to having to be ‘on it’ with having two games a week for so long that the midweek off we had made us have a slow start to the game.

Well deserved win in the end though.

Thought Gundogan has s crakcing game
