Great win. Madrid now and need to not let that get our emotions out of kilter for the league. Whether we win, draw or lose in the champions league, the premier league is under control if we just do what we know best.

Not expecting anything but a Liverpool win tomorrow, but am open to being proven wrong.

Jesus just put another £5m on his asking price too :)

Wow - match day thread was a generally positive place today….

Entertaining game, helped by the early goal. Some good movement off the ball today and some great cross field passes. Thought Watford looked quite lively going forward but the defence, on the whole worked hard as a unit and did well. Jesus put his chances away convincingly, really thought he was going to get a 5th the end but he just ran out of steam. Not sure what has gone on with Cancelo the last couple of games but his passing has been off and he has been caught in possession a fair bit, impressive the way we won the ball back though.

Grealish was absolutely fine. Kept the ball well and good movement created space for others. He's not a 9 though but did fine under the circumstances.

Cancelo was Cancelo. Did some good stuff and did some daft stuff.

I thought Grealish was fine too, he did nothing wrong today.

It was like Pep said “give me a performance 2nd half and you start Tuesday”

He was a bit sloppy first half but spot on second.

It’s a shame about his open goal miss in the 2nd half. If he could stay on his feet and not have a brain fart every time he gets a goal scoring chance, then I’d agree he could be amazing.
