Just what we needed that was, comfortable win, no injuries and key players subbed off early. Sensational performances from Jesus, Zinch and Raz. Some more much needed minutes for Dias who improved as the game wore on. Only downside was Cancelo who unsurprisingly given the shift he’s put in recently looked as though he needed a rest.

Gabby an obvious MotM but Kev magnificent again and the game petered out somewhat after our driving force was sensibly withdrawn by Pep.

It is a bit worrying, not having Cancelo and Walker on Tuesday. Whoever we play in those positions, will not be natural fullbacks. If Stones is fit, I suspect he will play on the right and Aka on the left. Both good players but, communications with centre half's, will be key.

not sure what was wrong with Cancelo today. Everything he tried went wrong. He looked frustrated with himself

Ake back, Diaz full game, Laporte, KDB and Rodney time off for good behaviour, Phil and Bernie rested snd a great win, all good.
What I can’t understand is these refs making it up as they go along; play was stopped for 4 mins for the pen, No Friends then had a minutes chat on the half way line, 6 subs, he stopped the game for player treatment twice, yet the clown adds on 3 minutes, clear proof that they don’t follow any rules and just make it up as they go along. Unlike the early leavers I love watching City and I reckon we were short changed 4 or 5 mins there

Couldn't agree more. So proud of Zinny.Said it previously that Cancelo is better at LB than RB
Thought Zinchenko did himself and his country proud today at LB though
