Lol, Jesus clearly reads this forum
Cancelo has played a hell of a lot of football. A couple of games off might do him good.I know fella :) I wasn't having a pop either we are just both having an opinion that's all. I agree they were both poor today luckily enough it was a game which we could afford a couple of our lads not being at it. Hopefully Kyle is back at that point so Cancelo can go back to left back.
He plays brilliantly on the right for Portugal. It's stunning how average he is on the right compared to how well he performs on the left. Seems to lose his bearings a lot, like his internal compass is set wrong. Lost count of how many times he gave the ball away, lost track of it in the air and got nudged away by a Watford player, kicked it out for a throw-in by accident, etc. etc.
Have never really trusted him on the right but ever since the end of last season at Brighton, when he somehow let Danny Welbeck (!) get the run on him and had to pull him down, him being put on that side gives me the fear. I hope to god that Stones or Walker are fit to start out there instead because Vinicius will turn him inside out.
They’re not a great side to be fair. Scraped through to the WC.He plays brilliantly on the right for Portugal.
