...............................Bravo...............................
..Sagna...........Nico...............Stones..........Clichy...
...............................Yaya.................................
....................Kev.................Silva.......................
......Sane.................Sterling.................Nolito.......

Interchangeable front 3.

There's no defensive cover at all there, we'd get destroyed at the back, especially with confidence (and ability) so low. Although he's not shown much so far I'd have Gundogan in front of that back 4, Yaya further forward and Sterling on the right wing instead of Sané.

I'd be tempted to have Willy in goal as well, though I bet Pep persists with Bravo.

Id go 433

Bravo with a back 4 of Sagna, Otamendi, John and Clichy

Midfield 3 of Fernando, Merlin and Yaya

Front three of Nolito, Kev and Raheem.

Gundogan drops to the bench because you just cant play him, Merlin and Kevin in the same side.

Deary me this place at times.

Utter garbage?

GTFO!

Shut up you, I can have my opinion and be as blunt as I like after yesterdays shocker.
He is constantly offside and his build up play/touch is as poor as it gets at this level
We used to have Tevez dzeko or balotelli to call upon when Aguero was out, now we have this kid. Hes far too raw right now and is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH for where we want to be right now
In time MAYBE but I doubt it, have you seen how irate pep is when he is managing towards him? He lived offside against celtic and yesterday was awful. He will not start against Watford, now you GTFO

GK: Whatdifferencedoesitmake

Sagna Otamendi Aradabioyo Clichy

Toure Gundogan

Nolito KDB Sterling

Iheanacho

Best strike rate in Europe... Sure, whatever mate.

Wow you are capable of a semi reasoned post after all in which you go on to explain why he shouldn't start on Wednesday, something with which i agree.

As for the utter garbage comment, it was utter fucking garbage.

Agree with this but IMO Silva should be the one dropped on the basis that Gundogan's been scoring more for us and we need all the goalscorers we can get.

Id be good with that if im being honest.

One of them has to be dropped though or it doesnt work at all.

Agree, they seem to get in eachother's way. However I'd play Gundogan and Touré both behind De Bruyne to provide some defensive balance. Nolito and Sterling can both cut inside and play off of De Bruyne, who has the middle channel to himself, when they need to. This could also become a 4-4-2 with either Sterling or Nolito coming up front to join Iheanacho while De Bruyne takes over from them on the wing. Mind you I'm no professional manager so I might be talking crap.

EDIT: Sorry, some bloke on the internet just revealed that Iheanacho is in fact an awful footballer so I guess he shouldn't play after all. Maybe we should just bring back Bony.

Coco
Zaba Otta Stones Kolarov/Clichy
Toure Gunda
Silva
Kev Nacho Sane

Go back to the inverted full back thing that was working. Alternatively we could start with 3 at the back for 10 mins, fuck it up and go to a back 4 as usual

And if we're not going to play Nacho now, when will we?

Firstly, it wasn't a penalty.
Secondly, how about our fragile attack putting immense pressure on our defence by missing easy chances?
Thirdly, I'm struggling to remember a major signing in January that made any difference? Its often a pointless window because clubs will not sell their best players.
Other than that, I agree entirely.

Roberts clearly goes past Clichy and Clichy holds him back with both arms. Penalty.

Its true that we are missing easy chances but the bottom line is the quality is there. In terms of defense, the current group is lacking quality and pace severely.

I think a LB or CB can instantly improve our defense in January. Especially PL proven defenders that can quickly slot in.

Southampton could sell Van Dijk given they are selling club, I could see him push for a move as well.

I'd drop Silva to the bench, done little of late....mind you, tough call between him and KDB...very disappointing return in the league since Everton at home from those two, can't be bothered checking but judging from their FF stats, not much in the way of assists/goals from either since in the league.....yet Gundogan and others get it in the neck.
Willy
Zabba - Stones - Otamendi - Angelino
Fernando - Gundogan - Ya Ya
KDB Nolito Sane

Like others, a bit underwhelmed by Nacho (as was Pep yesterday)..bring him on if things not going to plan.

I'll settle for a 50-50% poss and half a dozen goals- one goal for each chance and a half . I can't yet take in that according to the City App we had 72% poss on Saturday. And unsurprisingly, despite that percentage we still committed more fouls than Leicester!

Willy
Zab, Stones, Otter, Clichy
Yaya
Gonedoggin, KDB
Sterling, Nacho, Nolito/Sane

Kolarov should not be allowed near the pitch and Sagna looked like 2 games in week took it's toll after just coming back, and seriously would rather we tried Tosin than the Otter and Maffeo than Zab

Well we all found out the reason for that with Pep admitting after the Leicester debacle that he doesn't coach tackling.

If yer can't head the ball, yer can't pass the ball, yer can't tackle and yer can't shoot, yer can't play football. I was telling ten-yr olds this decades ago. There shouldn't be any pro who needs coaching as to how to do the basics. I'm constantly dismayed that I see players dangling a foot as part apology for a tackle, not being able to take a corner and get it past the first defender, or win a header in the middle of the pitch. The worst aspect of our current form is that one string of dodgy decisions by players is followed by an even longer string.

Behind my sofa will be open and there is always Corrie on if it goes tits up

What has happened that we fear Watford at home

But if it goes tits up in the 2nd half, Corrie will have finished and no I'm a Celebrity.
You'll just have to suffer, like the rest of us ;-)
