Well according to the daily mirror, king Rooney, El capitano supreme, the nation's captain, was in fact the second best player on the pitch behind our king kun. Being a non English man I find it laughable that the English press adore this gimp so much. He wasn't even United's best player, let alone the second best player on the park.
I'm gonna be in hiding for 6 months when he does finally becomes England's record goalscorer. The wank fest will be too much for me too bare.

The best player on the pitch was an Englishman but not their Englishman that's for sure.

I think as a lone striker or when playing in the box, he's excellent; great finisher, great movement. The problem for him is that he has believed this hype that he is the "next Paul Scholes". Hence why he spends so much of the game in positions where he can't really hurt the opposition.

If I really cared about the England team I'd want him as the main striker getting on the end of things. Fortunately I can't bring myself to ever get behind that odious little potato (or most of the England team for that matter), so I care very little about what position he plays.
