Ways of winding United fans up

In my experience, saying nothing is the best thing.

I don't bite to their jibes, I just laugh at them.

But the number one thing that winds them up is when you just look at them and say nothing when we've beaten them. Just one look in the eyes says more than a rant and rave or little snide remarks can. They squirm at it; they don't know what to do with themselves.

It's got to the point where Rags I know wont try and wind me up anymore at all. I've won!

This 100%. There are a couple of gobshite rag fans at work who love giving it out(but can't take it back as per for rags) they normally try and wind every blue in sight up if we lose. The last defeat against Everton not a peep, not a whisper, not even a chuckle under their breath, they have realised our time has come. We lost our captain for 4 important games, Balotelli for 4 games, and our midfield driving force for a month yet we still sit above them in the table, scored more and conceded less.

Really hope this doesn't offend anyone but watching City demolish a mid table Prem team earlier on in the Season in an empty Pub with just a couple of Blues and a couple of well known ( actually match attending) Rags.

As the Camera panned on Balotelli coming on as Sub I started giving it "Come on Eric"; "Come on the Italian Cantona" - The Rags were foaming,literally going ape and ballistic.

Unfortunately, the non rags around our office were giving it some after the Evilton result Bugger all since, mind you (stupid bastards) They sniggered in sustained fashion at the Rags losing to Ajax, though. Neutrals are the worst for this highly selective football talk. They hate everyone.

Me: "Funny... weren't you one of the muppets saying we couldn't, just last season."

Absolutely love it. Every now and then I like to add, "Oh, and we're not just buying the league. We're buying an era, mate."

Oh I am a smug **** these days. On the surface at least. Inside I'm dying of nervousness.

I received a box of business cards from my HQ also enclosed were another reps cards of which I did not know (i work as a rep for a national co) I rang the other rep to tell him I had his cards, he answered in a Northern accent so asked where he was based etc. Conversation turned to football and found that he was a rag. I posted his cards up to him in a decent size box, ready for him to unwrap was a colour winking A5 pic of Ballo waiting for him on top of his cards. Never had a thank you funnily enough!
