We Are A Joke (UPDATE - Changed My Mind - No We're Not)

Re: We Are A Joke

The thing that did me in was waking up having no idea (fell asleep about 10 last nite) of anything, but waking up to see Kaka has fucked us off, which was supposedly partly cos Cook fucked up, which led to Robbie stropping off and seemed like after all the hope and expectation I'd woken up to a giant leap backwards. Readin what the yellow ticker at the bottom of SSN had to say as I woke up for work at 6.30 AM really did me in

Now I've thought about it, I wasn't 100% behind the Kaka transfer anyway, I believe Cook over any suspect italian politician, and if Robbie wants to strop then let him, we'll move on without him (although I stil think things will be sorted and Robbie will continue with us)

Now let's get Given and de Jong signed

Why do we always look *****, we sign players who dont want to be here and make out we are the bees knees and then look more ***** when our most expensive player walks out.Its embarrassing to be a blue at the moment so something is very wrong with our club.It is obvious that MH cant mix it with the big managers and has no charisma,no respect from his players and apparently no control over them, but i do think he is being pushed all ways by the arabs and Cooke and dosent know what the fuck to do

I have never been embarrassed to be a blue...

Get a grip FFS..

dodge - what about when we pumped out fake fan noise through the p.a.? that was a bit embarrassing.

and what about when champagne supernova and not oasis performed on the pitch at maine road. that was a tiny bit cringeworthy.

Re: We Are A Joke

The club is far from a joke some of the comments may be. Any one that was Coms last sat will have to agree that was the best display of the season. We could of been 3 up by half time. The second half and the way everyone got stuck in was a joy to behold.
Next Kaka one of the top players in world.
1. We showed intent and a bid that sent shock waves round the world.
2.We are not gonna bullied by the likes of Milan, we told them to shove it when they bottled it, when their PR turned against them.
3. Bellamy. Not my first choice but he can do a job and is a fighter dosnt spit his dummy, and the positives he said about us.
4.Now we have got Internationals coming from abroad wnting to come to a 'Big club' of which he classes city.

Smell the coffee the future is bright.

we should go for players who want to play for the club not come just for the money, they will then give 100% and not spit their dummy out when they don't get their own way.

Glad i read this (2nd post) as i was going to say the only TWO JOKES were Milan and 'the fat el hombre'.......so now Milan are the only joke.

Is anybody who slags cook actually over the age of 14 ???? He gets blamed for loads of shit including 'fucking up the Kaka deal' ....... the bloke worked with basketball players through nike that made buying Kaka like buying a bag of chips to him......so if you CAN'T BELIEVE what he says and accept we pulled out for the right reasons (but believe a politician!!).....you'd better buy the Mirror every day, believe every word, and treat it as your bible!

*second bit aimed generally...not at 'Fat el Hombre' ;)

We have not disgraced ourselves. We made our intentions clear and for over a week the deal was always a possibility. Kaka did not come out and say no, until the last minute when he was torn emotionally and was probably under some pressure to make a decision. The mutual loyalty of Kaka to Milan and the fans to him was too much for him to break.

as much as i wanted kaka would he be up for a midweek scrap at fratton park on a freezing night????? i think bellamy would!

Could be interesting when he plays against his former clubs (no pun intended).
