We are going to win the league.

No chance of winning the league with the difficult fixtures but we will secure 4th.

Hopefully we will win the Cup and the quarters/semi of Chumps League.

Not great, but with the injuries we've had would just be acceptable.

New manager next year and hopefully a new medical team!!

I was worried about the game in hand from the cup final. You could have someone like the rags managing to get within 3 points of us come the derby albeit with us having a game in hand. But those games are not a guaranteed 3 points. Saying that they f*cked up royally at Sunderland, and we have far superior goal difference too(worth an extra point really). I suspect we'll flirt between 2nd and 4th until KDB is back. Arsenal play rags and spurs soon. That's either going to let us back in or secure 3rd/4th for us. I have a sneaky feeling that our trip to the Emirates will be a decider for 2nd. Spurs have to play Liverpool and Chelsea too. It's Leicesters league surely...

Oh I don't even know anymore.

Under normal circumstances we should remain hopeful if not confident we are still firmly in the title race, in fact with 10 minutes to go yesterday I think we were all confident of getting 3 points and putting ourselves firmly back in the race. The concerning thing is that by the time we play again, there's a good chance Leicester could be 12 points above us (albeit with us having 2 games in hand) and then we've got to go to Anfield. I'm not convinced we have enough of our top players fully fit and firing for that kind of gap to be overhauled. On a postive note, as per previous comments, the teams around us are going to be taking points off each other soon enough and with Vinny back and Kun staying fit we can hopefully improve enough to keep us in with a shout and at the very least secure top 4.

I find this whole thing baffling. Walking to the ground yesterday, it was the first time that I thought we might get beaten for a long time. What a horrible feeling. Not beating a top six side all season is unbelievable from this group of players and there is clearly a lack of fight and desire and will to win. It's obvious there is changes afoot under Pep but I thought that personal pride and ambition would spur the players on to win everything they could. It looks like I was wrong.
In a season of strange results; anything could happen, but we should be 10 points clear and on cruise control. So it's incredible that we are concerned that slipping out of forth place is a possibility.
My concern all season is that we continue to prioritise a competition we are not in a position to win rather than cleaning up domestically. After we lost to Utd last season, the players clearly buckled down and we went on a run, I was hoping for the same reaction following the Leicester game. I'm getting less confident that the heart needed to really grind it out is not in the majority of these players and it's just about a pay cheque.
I guess we'll find out over the next two weeks.

Beat arsenal at home and we are 1 point behind them. Anyone who thinks we still can't win it are defeatist.

Arsenal is at home

In 2012 and 2014 we deserved to win the league. This season we should have won it with games to spare but 6 points from 10 games against the top 8 means that, even if we do win it, I wouldn't believe we deserved it.
Whoever wins it, always deserves it. Over 38 games there are many twists and turns for all teams. I heard this “didn’t deserve it” tag the last two times we won it. It was bullshit then and it’d be bullshit now. I agree with you that this team/squad should and could have won it with something to spare, but if we do win it, and I think we can and will, we’ll have totally deserved it. The tag “league champion” is never fluked, and is never, ever undeserved. Ever.

The spurs game was the turning point that we needed to win it all, thanks mark cletenburg !!
