I worked out similar, we'd be doing very well to get to 70. I'm concerned about top 4 now.

Yeah, unless we can put five or six on the bounce together, and start some sort of runaway momentum, I've got us coming in at around 65-68 points.

I do think that will be enough, as I think the title will be won on around 76-79 points.

Which will only add to the frustration.

we are currently on 47 points - 6 behind 1st, 4 behind 2nd and 3rd.

We have 33 points left to play for. meaning a max of 80. Only 5 times since it stated has the league been won with 80 or less and that is our max attainable. Realistically even playing our best we'll be doing well to get 70, which will just about get us top 4 I think.

In 2012 and 2014 we deserved to win the league. This season we should have won it with games to spare but 6 points from 10 games against the top 8 means that, even if we do win it, I wouldn't believe we deserved it.

Probably 10 wins needed from the remaining 12 games. That would give us 77 which is probably realistic to win it this season. Time's running out but it would be just like us to go on a winning run now, when everyone is giving up. Whatever happens, it beats looking at the ceefax league table working out where we'll scrape points to avoid relegation.

I think 4th probably secure but the cup and CL ties look very much in doubt. Everywhere people is up in arms about the defense but I'm seriously concerned with the attack. Yaya's off, Silvas off, Sterling is off, Kun will be fine I'm praying. Meanwhile Nacho cries himself to sleep at night.
