'We needed Mario today...' UPDATE

agreed. the next time we struggle against a packed defence and we need an injection of pace and 'something different' we'll be fucked.
You say that as though Balotelli has regularly stepped off the bench to rescue a woeful performance and grab 3 points for us. He hasn't. One of our other strikers has though.

He won't be missed because, by and large, he's not offering a whole lot that can be missed.

Mario playing against Stoke!!! He would get a RED for retaliation inside 15 minutes.

Just like he did winning man of the match in the FA Cup final

That was LAST season FFS! As was the 1-6 at the Swamp.
As was the FA Cup semi-final against the Scum.
As was the penalty against Spurs etc etc - all last season.
We are now almost into February of this season and entering the run in... What has the bone idle, egotistical, light weight, trouble causing, selfish, imposter delivered this season? I'll tell you: Fuck all!

-- Tue Jan 29, 2013 8:29 am --

So far, when has this actually happened?

It's happened twice this season that he's come off the bench and helped change the game - Swansea at home, Ajax at home.

The only time he has changed the game is when he has been hooked off! Sunderland and the Scum being 2 excellent examples.

I see you're firmly in my camp. You catch a snooze whilst I keep watch. ;-)
I love the Spurs penalty that gets brought up. Course, he shouldn't actually have been on the pitch at that point. I love the pass to Aguero too. Course, if he hadn't been sent off (again) at Arsenal he may have been available to nick a goal during the 3 games he was banned, meaning he wouldn't have had to have waited until the last minute of the season to make a worth-while contribution.
It's like talking to a brick wall though with some as they fail to get passed the hair cuts, the silly cars, the fireworks and the zany 'character' he has, none of which has anything to do with why he is actually here - to play football.

Haters ? Why are people who are judging Balo purely on his performances called haters ?
It's just a term made up so the fan boys feel better about themselves. I certainly don't hate him and I've made excuses for him and given him two years to come good. Most players aren't even allowed two games by some on here and Balo has had long enough. I'd rather we use the money his sale will free up on someone who wants to play for us and will put in 100% every week.
Says it all that his fans have to go on the attack in a effort to defend him. Why not list all his brilliant performances to counter the argument that he's not done enough ? I think we all know why, there simply aren't enough of them.

Re: 'We needed Mario today - would have given us that spark'

I wish we would keep him til the summer, just so he can play in the derby.

Re: 'We needed Mario today - would have given us that spark'

Whenever he is next not in the squad and we needed him... obviously

Re: 'We needed Mario today - would have given us that spark'

I've heard it said already and he aint even left yet

btw - thanks for feeding Sergio to become CHAMPIONS Mario :-)
