Im intrigued by the city project.A lot of your fans are panicking though.I remember we had concrete links with nasri in mid-may and he joined mid-july.Even arshavin took more than 50 days .Their are lots of factors like holidays and paperwork to be taken into account and a big name usually exacerbates these other factors.I think tevez is a certainty to be a blue.These things take time.

Just listened to Talkshite headlines saying we "failed" in our bid for Eto'o as we couldn't agree personal terms, most City fans I know would laugh at Talkshite for the ineptitude of the reporting, not you, you probably take it as a personal insult and would cue a pathetic temper tantrum 'cos "Mark Hughes has no name"

should we go for huntelaar?
i should imagine that he wont be 1st team at madrid next year will he?
i dont know much about him though other than he's good at finishing and he's tallish, does anyone know anymore and if its worth a pop?

Huntelaar is a very good finisher but a slow player.He'd work in a 4-3-3 as the centre forward.
City could do far worse than this guy.

I disagree - we don't need players just because they are a 'big name' we need the right players for us.

There's a shout for him, and he's proven he can score everywhere he goes. He doesn't fit as a Hughes type of player though, as he is a one trick pony (though that trick is scoring goals).

He doesn't offer that much more than Big Phil in that department, who is a similarly one dimensional player.
Also, his work rate isn't phenominal, we have enough problem with players tracking back with the Brazilians (though they are getting better) without giving leaving another up front.
If I'm honest though, I'd rather have Higuain, but he is probably another one who is currently out of our reach. I can see him been Madrid's long term Galactico. He was immense last season.
