We should all be ashamed!

Well done, Ajay,

Some of us have been plugging this line for some time now (check my previous posts if you can bear to ). Frequent changes of manager and the impatience of some of the fans on here and in the ground are the common factors in our lack of success during the last (almost) 40 years.

I wish that the more bilious of us would find another hobby at times; we'd be better off with smaller crowds who SUPPORT the team and the manager.

With luck, MH will at least keep us up, but personally, I would rather take the drop than accept that certain players rule the Club. That's the road to nowhere!

It would be better if people would just find a thread and add to it, instead of the endless new threads spouting the same doom laden drivel may be the mods should do some thread merging, it's hard sorting the wheat from the chaff, good discussions are being pushed out by attention seeking posters!

The supporters want to win at all costs. They see Hughes as a problem not the solution, but they don't know the facts.

then enlighten us, please

I've supported hughes for months, even supported vassell over elano etc etc. but when i went back and looked over things again, i've decided I can't do so any more. I agree there are problems at the club, but i can only conclude MH has tried to change too much too soon, and has made several glaring errors that have only made things worse. I'm not saying he has no chance of turning it around, but i think he has made more of a mess of things than ever needed to be the case.

There have been other stories in the press as well.

The issue pre-dates Hughes. I don't want to say too much about that, but what's in the papers pretty much matches what I was told was going on last season under SGE

Why should we all be ashamed? This is a messege board where people offer their opinions, some put their points across well and others don't but thats whats going to happen when you've got a messege board as big as this. Obviously theres going to people against Hughes and thats perfectly understandable i should think considering the position were in nearly half way through the season with the amount of talent in the squad while others want stability and think he'll come good

Excellent post Ajay agree 100%.

I have no problem with people questioning Hughes and being doubtful whether he's the right man.

For me, it's the viciousness of some of the attacks against the manager that I find distasteful. Fine express your view and put forward a reasoned argument, but some of the comments are just vindictive, vicious and divisive.

At the end of the day whether you like him or not he IS our manager and having doubts about his abilities and supporting the team are not mutually exclusive.

The thing I struggle with with the HUghes out brigade is the almost desire and desperation that comes across on this board and sadly in the crowd to see him fail. There was a clear lack of support for the players on Sunday and you could almost feel some supporters waiting to jump on his back.

If you support Manchester City then in my view on a match day that is exactly what you should do, not sit there waiting for the team and manager to fail just so you have the satisfaction of saying 'I told you so'

Like I have said numerous times the most powerful driving force behind our opportunity for success is our new owners and if they back Hughes then so do I.

I think far too many of you are over estimating the influence an internet message board holds. If you can't vent your spleen on here then where can you?

Cheesy,

Go and kick the cat and if you haven't got one, bite the postman!
