We should all be ashamed!

it's easy to talk through your ring piece when you're online. don't know why. not all posts are obnoxious but some are.

Top post Ajay fully agree. Nothing new in this atmosphere though, it has always happened. City fans have always 'debated' they dont like settling for second best, although we have and still backed the team. Even in depths of Div 2 we still backed City this is what makes us what we are. Mancs have always been the same 'we say what we think, we're straight and up front' but we're loyal thats what makes us Blues.

What a load of BS we are 3rd off the bottom FFS Hughes out before its to late

Ashamed for having an opinion an expressing it on a discussion board?

FFS. I'd be more ashamed if we became mindless clones who can't utter a word without consulting the MCFC supporters rulebook.

When the team and manager stop underperforming the negativity will stop, while they keep underperforming it won't.

no it won't the doomers will just move onto a different target, they will pick out a player to destroy instead. It's just the mentality of some i'm afraid.

Also interesting that you would be more ashamed of being positive than you would being negative, which kind of highlights my first point!

It's funny, on here I've been slagged at times for being overly positive, other times for being overly negative.

It's called having an opinion, and I'd be ashamed if I spouted shit on here without it actually being what I believe in.

Views expressed here pretty much reflect what you hear around you in the ground.

For instance an intended pass goes wildly astray, and whereas one fan will go ballistic another will shrug his shoulders and look to the next move.

I've seen stylish women with immaculate clothes stand up and yell at referees, counterbalanced by quiet behaviour from teenage lasses in blue shirts.

So, are fans expected to take it all on the chin without a word, whilst the team slides towards its lowest position in the table for quite some time ?

There's a difference between blind support and reasoned concern methinks....

Ric let's us post here without too much restraint, and I appreciate that. But the team's performance is woeful of late and cause for concern.

Did the owner think he would be buying a club where everyone bows down in humility before royalty OR a club where passions run deep and feelings are vented openly?

Forums, it seems, can bring both the best and the worst, out of fans.

Me ? I hope to never offend anybody, but I am ashamed of the way players on mega-money perform like ours have been doing recently. Sorry.

My previous post simply stated that it's better to have an opinion than not.

Nothing to do with positivity, or negativity.

The negativity on this forum is unbearable!

We should all sit back and read what is being posted and reflect on what other people think of us and our club when they read the crap we say about ourselves!

Talk about the squad not having a winning mentality - more so it is the supporters who do not have a winning or supportive mentality!

Negativity breeds Negativity!

We where there behind our club through some tough times, much tougher than we currently face but some posts on here sound like it is the end of the world and MH is the Anti-Christ!

Well I said it before and I will say it again - we must have faith, we must support and we must cheer our squad and our manager rather than act like a bunch of school kids, I was horrified when I heard the chants at the WB game - actually disgusted is a better description!

There are no excuses for those chants - maybe our boys didn't start it but we certainly carried it through!

Please - remember who we are, why we support our club and the fact that we are entering a new chapter in our life - a solid positive move that will take time!

Cheers

Great post Ajay, I visited my sister yesterday in Blackburn, she is married to a longtme BRFC season ticket holder. To cut a long story short she went o a questions and answers session with MH when he first took over at Blackburn. He of course took all the set up questions and then too the shock of BRFC officials was prepared to stay and take questions from any person there. He did tell them that team building takes over a year to achieve and things would improve around that time. She said to me that City (her club) is like a boil at the moment with soreness through to the bone. There is a lot of anger in there and eventually it will explode. There are too many people at the club dancing to the beat of their own drum, there is no team. BUT Hughes, Redknapp and possibly Kinnear are team builders and winners who eventually will have ALL players, squad, management and FANS dancing to the same tune. Then we will start to win. For God's sake give him time.
