Just got home from work, fucked off on a half day !,going to watch the highlights from MOTD,i heard on the radio last night and read in the papers this morning that we were very good, wish i had have been there.Ah well, never mind,by the way this is my 200th post so i will have some tea and bickies to celebrate the occasion and watch the highlights,i'am i a party fucking animal or what !

I'll sum up the punditary form MOTD, "So a win for City there but Villa have had a long season...Now Wigan took on West Ham tonight....."
just read express report on last nights game.may have to read it again because i didnt see mention of billionaire misfits..dressing room bust ups or off field shennanigans..all i read off was an excellent performance..i wonder if his editor has seen it.

You were quite right mate, but by fuck we did look good,it looked like we could have been 3 up by half time, and what a great chest set up by Evans for Elano to have a shot,oh and by the way all you city lads and lasses were in great voice, you came through loud and clear, and SWP said that was one of the reasons City's form at home was so good,so take a bow people.

Excellent prformance, the football we played wad terrific, villa couldnt cope with, elano, ireland, swp all inter changing, We dominated midfield with kompany and de jong, its a pitty de jong had to come off, he was excellent. Very happy with that performance.

Totally agree probably the best performance of the season so far.

any criticism of the attire of our team as this seems to be very important to the Fleet Street hacks?

Should stick with a winning team regaurdless of any absentees last night returning to fitness for next Thursday then?

walking back to the car after the game I heard the following moans from people.......

SWP's finshing is not good enough

Ireland's finishing is not good enough

Given should have caught all the crosses he punched

Caciedo is shite

Fernandes is shite

Bridge is shite (and a waste of money)

Hughes should not have brought on a forward (Boj) for a midfielder (Elano) when we were only 1 up

Dunne and Ned just hoof the ball as far as they can

Bellamy is too injury prone (and won't play again this season)

makes you think why some people bother?

It's fucking unbelievable. Met up with my dad after the game and got in my car, we were both buzzing about how well we played and what a cracking game it was. First City caller comes on the radio and says 'I just want to talk about that big lug up front tonight' and started slating Caicedo. what the fuck? How can you watch a game as good as that with so many good points and just concentrate on slating our young lad up front? I can only guess that these people don't understand the game of football

Given up on local radio now as it winds me up for the same reason - how anyone can leave a match like that, and not be buzzing after seeing the SWP goal is incomprehensible

Thought Caicedo worked really hard, and caused their defence a lot of problems. He did not always manage to retain the ball, but we picked up a lot of second balls from the mayhem he caused, largely because our midfield flooded forward to support him (SWP and Ireland) every time he got the ball

Villa were poor, and have been for a month now - which is why MON scarificed the UEFA Cup, but the determination, and technique displayed by all the City players was a joy to watch

Must take this form into the away games now

It doesn't matter how well we play there will always be come negative dickheads slagging us off

I kept hearing one guy behind me moaning all the way through the first half. which was starting to annoy me. We were carving open the BEST away team in the premier league and he was still saying how crap we were. the only complaint I had about us in the first half is that the score was only 1-0 when it should of been 3 or 4

oh well... I guess you can never please some people
