We Will Be A Disgrace...

Some fans like Mancini, some don't.

Mancini fans need to stop questioning the doubters loyalty to city. That's pathetic.

I do think you Mancini haters will be applauding Spurs Tuesday night for fucking up , rather than your own team , yes.

then you are a sad man, firstly to think cos a manager is critized he's hated, and second cos you actually think any blue would want a city loss.

truly truly sad.

ok hows this?
mancini hasn't put a foot wrong and has really excelled all season.

now pass me the blue tinted specs.

only on here eh?

Your constant sniping is sad , I didn't say a City loss did I , I said you'll applaud Spurs for fucking up , ( or losing against us ) just so you can say we only got 4th because Spurs lost.

Of course Mancini , in his first full season has made mistakes , feel free to name a manager who hasn't.

And accusing a BLUE of having BLUE tinted specs . Yeah only on here.

no one can dislike him he's a decent guy, dont like the way he plays the game though and as you say you dare not say so cos you are suddenly anti city if you do.

as i said earlier the bob fans are quite sad.

what would of been a disgrace then ??
spending many times more than the rest and say losing away at notts county or leicester ?

the margins between success and failure are slim in this league, a bad refereeing decision, hitting the woodwork (arsenal, spurs away?) a shinned overhead kick
injuries ,
this manager is no where near positive enough to ever win this league some of the performances and decisions by mancini have been shockingly bad ,yet cos of the cup final and probable 4th place hes a hero ?
i could of spent that money and done as well !!!

His record of 3 wins out of 18 against the other top 7 sides over 2 seasons is just piss poor.
Until he learns how to win more of these games then we will never win the league.

The next two games are big games. Let's see how he does in them and then judge.

I think Liverpool are nailed on to be back in top 4 next season with 2/3 signings so we have to improve.
It's also horrible that he probably played for a draw in almost every one of those games.

The facts speak for themselves:

- He had a chance to put Liverpool away and sat Silva and NDJ
- His idea of success is a narrow one-goal win with as many first eleven players on the bench as possible
- He has more money than any other manager and they're not even within shouting distance of the title
- He seriously doesn't have any plans once the whistle blows. It takes him fifteen minutes to figure out who to take off and who to put on when things aren't going well.
- Even though they're in the final it's by the skin of their teeth. He couldn't manage wins against Notts County and Leicester w/o replays and then he complained about fixture congestion.

Also, I don't see how CL will be anything but a disaster with him at the helm. More games against top competition? He views every decent team as being superior and basically plays into their hands by sitting back and praying for a miracle. Chelsea are probably still laughing at City's display at Stamford Bridge. A team that's handled them three straight times comes in and plays like a third tier side trying to force a replay at home? Please...

In my own mind I am writing off some opinions on this thread as pre match nerves.

The longevity of mancinis reign is of course open to much debate.

His status as ' legend' is there for him and all of us.

Do not underestimate the effect lifting that pot for the 1st time in 42 years could have on ALL of us.

-- Mon May 09, 2011 9:49 pm --

In my own mind I am writing off some opinions on this thread as pre match nerves.

I don't think anyones questioning his loyalty, but his perception of how football should be played.Yes he was very successful in Italy but there slow build up style of play just doesn't suit the English game, its a much faster game over here, and you need to attack at a much faster pace.We tend to build up very slowly giving the opposing team time to organize in defence.

I can understand people being excited because we could be on the verge of the greatest era in City history, but I think we need to look at it realistically sometimes. It's great that people have undying faith in there team, but sometimes the tinted glasses do have to come off.As a person Mancini seems a decent bloke, but in my opinion he is not the man to lead us to the very top.I hope I am wrong and will be as pleased as anyone if I am.But only time wil tell.

i'll go a step further, the blindness to mancini's shortcomings is unbelievable.
i dont mind him being here next season regardless of where we finish, i wont go to the away games as often but i will of course be wanting our team to win.
what i wont do though is deny the fact that bob has fucked up this season and on more than one occasion.thats because i say it as it is.

The football we played at Everton was quality is it Mancini fault we didn't put the chances away?
