We won't make fourth

Of course we will make 4th. We just need to win 7 our of our final 10 games and with 6 of those at home with Burnely away we should do it.

I predict we will get it in the second to last game of the season against Villa at home on 1st May.

If we win all six home games I'll drink my own piss.

You know those DVD's you can get of the season? Won't it be great if we get 4th and then we can look back on the season secure in the knowledge that we got what we wanted and not worry about the setbacks we've suffered thus far?

Sit back with a few beers and not be at all concerned about the dropped points and run of draws under Hughes. Secure in the knowledge that we will be playing C.L. football next season.

If we win all 6 home games, i'll eat my own... well... maybe not. But you get the point.

In my honest opinion, rags will beat us and we'll draw with Spurs (both teams too afraid to lose) and Everton, winning the other 3. Our quest for 4th place relies on us probably having to win 3 and draw 1 of our 4 remaining away games (Fulham, Burnley, Arsenal and West Ham). I think we will lose at Arsenal. So to me, it looks like Fulham, Burnley and West Ham away are all must win, yet even that may not be enough. We'll probably need a point at Arsenal. Or alternatively, we need to beat Spurs, giving us slightly more room for error in our away games. It's going to be oh so tight!

It's simplistic but if we don't win at Fulham, who should be there for the taking after playing Juve tomorrow, then we can kiss it goodbye.

Because if we don't, we'll be in seventh place having lost our advantage over Villa and Spurs with Villa and Liverpool having significantly easier run-ins than ourselves.

One thing is for sure, we'd better hope and pray United beat Liverpool on Sunday!:)

It's in our own hands but i'm not optimistic i must admit.
Not having a go at the players or staff but i just don't think we have it in us to be consistent enough.

Question to the those who are adamant we won't get 4th.
If Hughes was still the manager and everything was as it is now, would we get 4th?
The clue will be in the answer to that question, they are the same people the said give Hughes more time and did not want him sacked.
They have an axe to grind and a massive grudge against the present manager, I'd go so far as to say a few hate the guy and are still in mourning for their beloved Hughes!!
