34deg temp difference is unusual. Darwin usually a bit cooler in winter (July) and Hobart is a bit warmer in July (winter range from 6 to 12deg usually)Hardly unusual as Darwin is only 12deg South of the Equator.

So global warming is a myth as it freezing in July.

I've spent a good few Winters here and it usually averages around zero but can drop to well below that at times. Tends to stay fairly dry though.Tell us what it’s like in winter mate.
