Fair play to him and his 2 assistants. They have been the most consistent trio of the tournament... it surely is the pinnacle of a referee's career - let's just hope he does what the last English ref to do the WC final did - penalty for Holland in the first few minutes

Quite happy with this actually. Had a decent tournament. Don't know what other refs the FIFA had in mind but this seems reasonable enough.
