Weird Away Days

Yes I remember the Chelsea mob that day,I can't think why years ago I always went from Victoria to Palace, but last 5 visits always change at London bridge and drink at the Barrow market.
It was one handy fucking mob mate. Chelsea and Cardiff in one weekend. Thank fuck we didn’t have Milwall midweek

Also went to Cardiff following season won 3-0,in the bluebird social club next to ground no problems. I was with my girlfriend at the time so that could be why no trouble she was a Leeds fan, long story.

I might have been smoking too much weed but I remember mad mock battles between blues too.....steaming into each other for a laugh.

Probably a gay thing and I didnt know

Anybody remember the 4th round of the FA cup when City beat Newcastle 3-1 at their ground, 29th January 1977? The ground was packed and some Newcastle kids were getting crushed so the police put them in the City end, as the game kicked off, and of course they were followed by the bigger lads -result chaos. The police chucked about 1,000 Newcastle and City fans out, I didn't get to see the game and sat in the local pub. To make matters worse, the Geordies smashed our coach windows on the way home and we froze all the way back to Manchester. The coach got pulled over at the services as some lads were throwing shards of glass at passing cars and we were relieved of one or two individuals, one was exclaiming "occifer, occifer it wearn't me" . Got back about 2 am. Great result, shit day!

I remember that well, as a 16 year old shitting my pants as it kicked off fans on the pitch I ended up in the paddock separated from my dad and mates only some kind older geordies saved me from a kicking, I remember Newcastle brown ale bottles raining down on us, I seem to remember some rangers fans in with us fighting the geordies, we won 3.1 I seem to remember.
A very scary day.
