Course I want him to succeed he’s a blue. But this is the kind of transfer I’ll never understand.
He’s 20 played a handful of games in the french league doesn’t speak English, doesn’t know the pep systems and will probably take time to assimilate.
In the mean time we will probably sell a kid who has been brought up to play the city way for the entirety of his life and is itching to burst through (a la Harwood Belis)
Most of these players end up like Angelino and it’s probably the way Nunes will go.
Seriously I hope this post ages badly and the kid does well, but I will never understand this kind of transfer. It’s a gamble that we probably don’t need to take. And I’m a miserable bugger.
