Welcome Donnarumma!

It’s a special trade being a keeper, one game you seem to get a glove on everything. Next game you try and anticipate and everything ends up in the back of the net, and that’s just me in net for 10 minutes playing six a side. Kudos to anyone who can do it professionally.
I went in the net for ten long mins on Thursday night 6 a side.
One of the keepers didn't turn up,so we had rolling keepers, I hated it,let two soft goals in, couldn't wait to come out, not that I made any difference , we lost 7-6 in a closely fought battle ,first match of the new season after the summer break ; )

Just remember united paid more for Onana and Lemmens than we did for Ederson and Donarumma!

Ederson and Donarumma have both won the Treble!

Lemmens is United's new first choice keeper! He has never played in a in a European match!
What’s the chances of the last two Utd keepers both being Lemmen’s

Same shithouse of a club who gave a declining crocked Casimeiro 400k a week for 5 years. Same shithouse club who paid 85 million for Sancho and 300k a week for 5 years. Same shithouse club who spent 80 million on the next Haaland for him to last one season and then loan him out whilst paying most if his wages for the next 4 years. The list goes on and on and on.
& 500K per week to Ronaldo to prevent him joining us, not better, just bitter

Interesting that he has a feeling we might rotate keepers more than we are expecting.

I don't see it myself, but City will play a lot of cup games and Champions League games so Trafford will play
I just feel when you're the new keeper of his stature, you come to play and as many game as possible

But i feel this change of keeper City and Pep made doesn't add up and we still have 4 keepers on the books

Why on earth did we sign Donnarumma?

I thought that he's an excellent shot stopper - turns out that he's worse than Ederson and far worse than Trafford even in current form.

Donnarumma is so bad on the ball that he doesn't sweep and insead pretty much remains in goal.

His passing ability is terrible too - he doesn't typically take goal kicks and he'll never, ever show for the ball.

The thing that Donnarumma excels at is - having realized his weakness at sweepting - is staying in goal all of the time and forcing attackers to beat him.

I didn't realize this at all - but this video convinced me:

Given that this is true - it seems to be - ... I've no clue at all what we're doing with respect to recruitment.

Are we abandoning our keep-ball system of defense when Donnarumma starts?

Why did we sign Trafford - an excellent shot stopper (better than Donnarumma) and far, far better at passing?

Beats me.

I think that Donnarumma is going to be a huge disaster for our side and if I'm right, we need to make changes in management/coaching.
