Frankly he was a hopeless signing. I went with dad to watch him at Maine Rd vs West Brom. He scored an absolute cracker. It’s the only contribution he made. Heady days. Sell your best players and replace with poorer or untried players.

How true, at the time as a very impressionable 14 year old, I believed that Malcolm was the second coming, how wrong could you be.

It really is. An April derby away at Kellogg’s, and he nets his 20th of the season and does that finger in his ear, pointing up celebration - right in front of the stretford end.
