Welcome Jeremy Doku | Signing confirmed on a five-year deal

Never heard of him before being linked, but the Youtube video and the stats make me excited. Doku and Palmer to compete for the right wing spot.

I hope he does turn out to be good, but I'd say he needs a bit of work before he can be playing. Someone else mentioned he's a bit Traore and he does seem to be.

He looks very quick. This is him v Wolves.

Hmm not very impressive compared to some YouTube clips. Hope Pep gets the best out of him as he is young enough to learn. His dribbling is his strength but if he keeps giving the ball away Pep won5 be happy.Wonder if Palmer seeks a move?Hope not.

He's pretty young and I would have thought he might need some time to bed in and learn the system.

The challenge of fast/dribbling players in Pep's teams always seems to me that they need or need to learn good judgement about when to take people on. Watching some of his match highlights his instinct seems to be to run at people all the time, regardless of the position on the pitch.

We absolutely need someone who can run at people, but he'll need to learn when to do that - in 1:1s in the final third, or on the counter, but NOT when the pass is the better option.

It's also about when Haaland makes his runs. So if teams are sitting back, his dribbling in tight spaces will be great. But he won't be asked to take on people in midfield unnecessarily when a quick pass could release Erling...

Delighted to have him! Welcome!

If we were judging players from a pre-season friendly (just one of them at that) then we'd all be clamouring for City to sell Haaland. Let's give him the season.
