Welcome João!! This is such an exciting signing, this window has been a true Txiki masterclass.
The inflated values are accounting trickery and favour both clubs. Does nobody remember the crazy Serie A days in the late 90s/early 00s? Clubs used to do these crazy multi-player swap deals all the time and fringe players would get overvalued to create false profit for both clubs.
I take it that's Abu Dhabi's income tax rate increased again, the poor sods.
Welcome to the best madhouse in football, Mr Cancelo.
couldn't give a shit how much he costs, just hope he rakes his studs down Mo's calf in the first five minutes against the dippers !
Welcome Cancelo! 27 too, my lucky number.
Why ? He's worth what they've paid or they wouldn't have paid it.
I guess the deal could have been €137m for Danilo, and €165m for Cancelo, and it makes no great difference, the bottom line is we have paid €28.6m for him, no matter what numbers are used.
If you do the Danilo math, then you have to count Cancelo at £60M!
He is stating fact. The transfer fee for Cancelo wasn’t what you state. What you are stating is the relative EFFECT of the two deals.
Let’s not become Rags and stay in the realm of reality. Cancelo is a £60M player we just bought from Juve. Danilo is a player we just sold to Juve for £34M. Good deal for both teams, and their CFOs like the way the deal has been structured for their own purposes.
RIght so the "official" figures are just fake. Basically Danillo was sold for GBP19-24m pre my previous post.
