I agree mate, he was brilliant for us last season, but he definitely needs to add more goals to his game. He can strike a ball, it's his composure that seems to let him down. Hopefully he does improve on that front.

There’s no way we’ve seen the best of Grealish yet. As good as he was from the World Cup onwards last season, if that’s the best he’s ever going to be I’d be disappointed.

I think there’s a better player in there to come yet.

I believe he’s more the player we want playing central. Although we have that area well stocked and now short in the wider areas for now.

These foreign lads nearly always speak English better than many British people can.

A Polish guy once said to me that he kind of had to learn English again when he moved here because the English he was taught wasn’t really spoken here, and he had to learn a dumbed down version of it with words that were very simple and often incorrect from what he’d been taught and what he spoke in Polish. There’s a lot less dumbing down and a lot less slang in other languages n’all (‘n’all’ haha) and many other European languages articulate properly with proper grammar as the norm.

You won’t catch a foreign footballer saying ‘we done well, we was good today’. But that’s the norm for a lot of English people even though it’s not right.

The dumbing down of our wonderful language has been ongoing for many years.
Possibly , ironically, to make it less daunting to learn for immigrants.
Now hardly anyone talks proper, like wot I do....
