Again, I repeat, we paid just £2m less for Patrick Roberts seven years ago.I don't believe he is a CFG signing. The fee involved is too high for just another CFG singing.
Lots of reasons I’d imagine. None of which tell us how good we think he’ll be, or how good he will when he arrives. Thinking you know our plans for him is just wild guessing. Then explain why he's staying at River Plate if we think he's so good.
hahah like the second one julian suarezAlvarez ooooooh
Alvarez ooooooh
He comes from River Plate
Aguero is his mate
Unlike some on here I’m really exited about this one.
Sheikh Mansour flew his plane
Down to Buenos Aires
Bought us back an Argentine
Julian Suarez
Tbf, Gabby stayed in Brazil for a few months after we signed him. The big difference with him though was that we paid £27m and were certain that we wanted him in the first team as soon as he arrived. Then explain why he's staying at River Plate if we think he's so good.
Fucking typohahah like the second one julian suarez
Only two peoples opinions count and you don’t have the faintest clue what their opinions of this signing are.He paints a pretty clear picture, that some people at City think Alvarez is in our first team plans for next season, while some other people at City clearly don't. The fact that the latter camp even exists is a sign that his future at City isn't as cut and dry as some people on here would have you believe. If we're signing a 22 year old and still can't make our minds up as to whether he's good enough for the first team, why are we bothering? The answer is that he'll be worth a tidy extra £10-15m to us in a couple of years.
You`re becoming a fucking bore now.Just leave the thread and leave it to the majority of Blues who are glad he`s coming over to us.Again, I repeat, we paid just £2m less for Patrick Roberts seven years ago.
Perhaps that was part of the deal which secured the bargain price? And perhaps Pep doesn't think we need him this season....just spitballing, don't have any insight into the transfer negotiations or Peps plans, but I'm pretty sure that if he's SA footballer of the year then he has something going for himThen explain why he's staying at River Plate if we think he's so good.
