Welcome Julian Alvarez | Signing confirmed on a five-and-a-half year deal

Anyone know if he speaks any English. Think foreigners who speak at least some English tend to settle In quicker.

Just in case he never puts a City shirt on.(arf!)

This was some goal... Levy wanted to buy him on a 6 year loan with an option to buy when Sir Harry was 35 and only on the condition Argenina did not invade the Falkland Islands in the interim. If they did invade, and found oil, he would increase the offer from 2 million to 3 million..subject to contract.

Lots of people in this thread fundamentally misunderstanding what I'm actually saying because they've decided that a player they hadn't heard of a week ago is going to replace Sergio for the next decade.

I'm not saying we aren't going to add him to the first team. I'm not saying Pep doesn't like him. I'm not saying he is definitely a CFG signing. What I am saying is that I'll be surprised, pleasantly, if he becomes a first teamer because a lot of the talk around his transfer reminds me of previous signings we've made in the past that have resulted in 1 or 2 appearances in friendlies before being loaned out for 3 years and eventually sold on for a tidy profit.
