Welcome Marc Guehi!

Sky can't fucking help themselves....

"The whole deal is worth £120M when you take in the transfer fee, wages, agent fees and signing on fee."

Do they do this to any other club?
They know how to keep their customers happy - ie any deluded bullshit that would fail even the slightest analytical scrutiny is totally fine as long as it meets the "Red Cartel Good/City Not Good" narrative criteria.

It does seem to be something that, broadly speaking, we get fairly right as part of our recruiment. You'll always get someone who slips through or someone who is worth taking a chance on regardless, but it feels like we've had a very respectable group of lads under Txiki and now Hugo.
It is clear that personal qualities and behaviours are as important as football ability when it comes to our recruitment strategy.

Wishing him to stay fit and win with City a big trophy or two this season.

Once everyone is fit and it clicks then we will see a completely different level of performance!

True, big if though as we just don't ever seem to catch a break injury wise. That's why it's important to keep within touching distance of Arsenal though. Their fan's are still bricking it even with a seven points lead, if we hit top form and start whittling it down im sure they'll crack.

This time last week he was just someone we might be after, well done City

15 days since Josko broke his leg. Really impressive from Viana and the executive team to convince Guehi, and get the deal done in that amount of time. Funny thinking back a week to all the people saying "move on he's clearly not interested".

What’s the Wirtz deal worth then? Assuming a weekly salary of 200k for 5 years would stick another 52 million on it
