Welcome Ruben Dias!

Good luck Ruben, you're going to need lots of it. Can he do it on a cold night in Burnley, or a wet Saturday night in Leeds?. Fingers crossed

I'll go first,

sung to Heart of Glass by Blondie

Once I had a love, it was Ruben Dias
Plays at the back, he'll put you on your ass
Seems like the real deal, this boys on fire
And he doesn't wear handcuffs, like Harry Maguire

Ooh ooh, woah
Ooh ooh, woah

lots of you keep going on about our weak defence. That is not the problem. The problem is our manager’s gung-ho naive insistence to just all-out attack every team with every player we have, bar our keeper. His philosophy that our 5,000 passes in and around their 18 yard box will always wear them down into submission. It worked, mostly, three seasons ago. But not any more. Leicester had it perfect the other night. 9 men behind the ball on the edge of their box willingly allowing us to try and pass them to death till we make a mistake, a misplaced path, and with our full backs up by their corner flags and then they release their fast forward/s to counter attack. Our full backs are then the furthest out of position and our two supposedly holding midfielders are also stranded way too far forward and look like they’re both running through sand trying to get back. It is very poor tactics from a manager who totally refuses to defend and to respect the opposition. The second half against Wolves was yet another massive warning he chose to ignore. And it’s also why we’ll never win the champions league unless he wises up and addresses the defensive side of our game. You build your team from a solid defence and progress forward from that invincible wall. Pep just thinks we can go out and batter anyone & everyone. And we can’t unless we do it correctly.

Worst welcome ever.

Apologies if this has already been put on here already, but wonder who fancies winning the city shirt competiton at the bottom of this image, maybe we aren’t finished buying defenders yet!!! If it has been shown on here already i’ll await the titanic image.
It was all done as a bit of a speed job to spare the tears for those missing out on the Jonny Evans shirt.
