Sunday's game said everything to me, he was completely bypassed, sad to see.Even if he's not quite what he once was, I don't think it's anywhere near fair to suggest that Fernandinho is finished.
Would still rather see him play than rodri.Sunday's game said everything to me, he was completely bypassed, sad to see.
I agree he didn't do too well (although who did?). But the Wolves game showed he still has something of high quality he can offer. It might need to be like Silva last year where his games are managed, but he can easily still contribute positively as far as I'm concerned.Sunday's game said everything to me, he was completely bypassed, sad to see.
I wonder if Ake could play that role next to Rodri in rotation with Fernandinho if we get a left back in and Laporte stays fit. It was the second game of the season, and that will be him in peak condition, by game 10 he will be completely shot.I agree he didn't do too well (although who did?). LB has been touted, it might give us an opportunity to go back to the inverted FB that Delph did rather well. I suppose though DM is an option. But yeah him being asked to train in 3 positions does lend to something, unless it's Pep's weird way of making players more all-rounded.I wonder if Ake could play that role next to Rodri in rotation with Fernandinho if we get a left back in and Laporte stays fit. He automatically had a one \year extension because of the number of games he played last season, but if that was not the cast I think he would no longer be at the club in a playing capacity.
Even at CB he was struggling physically last season the longer the season went, and that's a far less demanding position than DMFLB has been touted, it might give us an opportunity to go back to the inverted FB that Delph did rather well. I disagree, but I can't reasonably make a point about me being right and you not being right without making assumptions and leaps of faith. So I guess the only way we'll know is when we see what happens over the next 10 games for example. We can revisit then?
I was thinking that on Sunday. It hasn’t taken the shine off for me.
It’s funny and one of those typical city moments that reminds you that some of the people working at the club are just as they used to be.
Yer alright la.Taken the shine off the signing, really? Only if you're more worried about people having a laugh and a joke about it than seeing if he makes us better. Sorry for having a sense of humour and not caring about it.
