HT ... Arg 0 - 0 Colombia ... must win for Arg, Col can progress with a draw, even match so far ... Max is doing Max things at DM ... like the ref, makes it watchable ... some impressive specimens out there for the Col U20s, almost like they're actually 23 or something, snort

I will endeavor to find the clip, but Max did a mf turn in traffic that was stunning, like Messi-tier ridiculous - announcers didn't notice it and no replay. Hopefully somebody puts a Max iso vid up after the match.

BTW, 'Maximo Perrone' is sorta 'big dog' in the romance languages ... for chant purposes. lol
 
Welp, Arg 0 - 1 Col. The Argentine keeper howlers away any hope of a victory so Max is done with the U20 tourney - put out the cones. He's got touch, vision, maturity, savvy ... but he'll never run down anybody who gets by him. He'll shine in possession but is the prem just too rapid for him? Seems useful maybe, kinda like we thought Phillips would be useful. Pie-in-the-sky outcome might be a player like Jorginho at Chelsea. shrug, we'll see

Perrone has the touch, passing and vision to play as a 8 in a pep team. he already plays like a pep player knowing when to keep possession when to increase the pace of the attack. hope he comes to the club and immediately starts impressing pep in training. might get a chance if we get a easy FA cup ties or when we are winning 3-0 with 10 mins to go.
