apparently this adebayorgate has caused three factions in City's army. although these factions share the same objective, each sees the incident in a different light
Faction 1 (the politically correct) believes that
- Adebayor did a deliberate violent conduct
- The issue is the intent
- Believes the ban for the alleged stamp is fair
- Feels uneasy with 'whining' Citizens
Faction 2 (the allegedly whining Citizens) believes that
- Adebayor may or may not performed a deliberate violent conduct but sees this as not the issue
- The issue is not the intent but the double standards
- Believes the ban for the alleged stamp is fair only if other similar of more severe instances are fairly punished
- Hates the FA
Faction 3 (the Ade Camp) believes that
- The whole incident was unintentional and shit happens
- The issue is that the incident is definitely incidental, but was made looking intentional by the media, Persie;s statement et al.
- Believes the ban is nonsensical as it was unintentional and shit happens
- Likes Adebayor
- To add, those who seem to be in this faction is Mark Hughes who said there was no malicious intent; Toure who said it was an accident; the other squad members who Toure said saw it as an accident; an Ade himself who pledged innocence
Factions 1 and 2 always argue into an endless deadlock because the argument is not on the same issue to start with. Faction 3 has already conceded their issue and accept the ban.
whichever faction we are in, opinions are opinions so long as we are all here to support our boy Ade, our team City, and our conquest. those who wants to print corrupt FA shirts, by all means. sometimes its good to whine and sometimes its good to get a laugh off it. those who are pleased with the ban as showing professional conduct, then do bask in that hidden victory. at the end of the day, everything leads to one agendum that we all share and that is our passionate support for our boys.
we share the same conquest, and together we conquer all.
