who would of thought that when van nistelrooy left ronaldo would turn into a 30goal player?!?!
fergie has a knack of getting this kinda thing right but yea im more than sceptical this season
city signings...
barry, good signing, not excellant at anything but hardly does anything wrong, mr dependable to let ireland affect the game in better areas
tevez is quality, he is scum in my eyes, but a great footballer, wont score you 20 goals but he will bring alot more to the table, the whole team was lifted when tevez was on the pitch
dubious about santa cruz, to pay that kind of money for someone who has only ever scored more than 5 league goals once is a gamble to say the least, and thats without mentioning his injury record
and im not a fan of adebayor at all, the clue is the fact arsenal fans arnt bothered hes gone, and no other clubs came in for him...he has the ability to be brilliant and awful all within 5 minutes lol
as for ronaldo he was simply the best player my two eyes have ever seen, he had 0% likeability but the man is special, cant deny him his dream though and i wish him all the luck in the world, we will miss him alot
Fair (and constructive) answers ....... thanks for answering.
It's hard to understand what went on with Tevez behind the scenes at your place ..... the player and the manager seemed to have differing viewpoints , the Glazers said nothing , and the players agent was constantly in the news ...... but Fergie could never say for sure during the season whether or not Tevez would or wouldn't be staying , only that it would be taken care of at the end of the season ....... maybe the clubs owners went back on their word , or had an input into his release .. who knows?
one thing that sticks out to me, is we said the we would take care of it at the end of the season, and by all accounts we offered him a contract, later than he would of liked, but true to our word...
the issue i dont think was the contract but the playing time, or lack of in big games tevez thought he was getting
one thing is for sure, theres no way fergie only ever spoke to him once in 2 years...in my memory i cant remember many people speaking bad of fergie as a person, aside from his managerial decisions, and he generally maintains a good rapport with the players, so i find it very hard to believe that fergie never spoke to him...
so for me that brings tevez's story into doubt some what...
