Welcome to the new forum

I appreciate that some users don't like change, and that the new look isn't to everyone's tastes.

I should stress though that it isn't just change for the sake of it; overwhelmingly the biggest criticism we receive is that the site goes down during busy periods, which everyone finds frustrating.

That was because of the old forum software, which was no longer fit for purpose. The subsilver2 style that some miss was tied into that - if there was a subsilver2 style for the new forum I'd install it as an option.

Nothing is set in stone with regards the new design though, so any constructive criticism on how we can change things for the better, either in terms of design or functionality, are welcomed. Just saying "I don't like it" is less helpful though - please be specific with any criticism!
Massive thanks to whoever sorted my talk talk problem out last night.
I had no idea what a big part in my life bm plays until I couldn't get it yesterday.
Just splitting hairs but would prefer more than 10 posts per page ,always seem to be changing up pages.
Familiar with this style as its the same as the nycfc forum use.
Faulster is a mod over there maybe he could guide you what features work and dont work best.?
This format works great on a mobile ,where as the times I've visited redcafe and rawk they are unusable on a mobile

sky blue instead of the grey bits, would make it look more like a City forum.

The grey just reminds me of all the old fogeys on here, it's like "sorry guys, I've changed it all so it's modern and cool, but don't worry, I've painted it grey to re-assure you".

That's the problem with sky blue; it just doesn't work very well on websites. It's difficult to read, and a bit harsh on the eye.

Obviously I've tried playing around with it, as it's our colour but it's a losing battle. It's why we've never really used it in previous site designs, and presumably why even the OS doesn't really use it.

Super! Thanks Ric.

One more question: there used to be a 'jump to' button at the bottom of the page, for quickly moving from e.g. the main Bluemoon forum to, say, the Transfer forum. Is there something similar? Cheers.

Any chance of making the lines between the threads more pronounced and in blue to break up the white a bit,i'm finding so much white hard on my eyes
