any pics pal ??
I have some but can't work out how to put them up!
Drat , ive been sussed ! , ...;-) ..... it just reminds me of those shit 70s chants , where one guy chants something then the others respond , like the England cricket fans , or 3rd division bundesliga teams , but each to his own ......mine komarad ;)jrb said:panzer1311 said:sounds like something you'd hear at a division 3 bundesliga ground ….. awfuljrb said:I hate doing this, as these guys are doing a great job and don't need a middle aged Man standing in Block 111 telling them what to do. ;-)
However, can I suggest, request, a few songs in the future direct at blocks 111,110,109.(and back again)
I'd like to think we as fans can get to a point where we chant to each and over the heads of the away fans.
Don't know if any of you young-uns remember this......
"Everyhwere we go"(repeat)
"People want to know"(repeat)
"Who we are"(repeat)
"So we tell em"(repeat)
"We're the Boys in blue and white"(repeat)
"Love to sing and love to fight"(repeat)
"oo-oh"(repeat)
"Blue and white"(repeat)
"Sing and fight"(repeat)
"City!"
"City!"
OK it's a bit 80's(fight0, but it sounded great on the Kippax when it was sung.
Also. Some classics hear that need airing again. 15 pages of chants. <a class="postlink" href="http://fanchants.co.uk/football-team/manchester_city/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://fanchants.co.uk/football-team/manchester_city/</a>
Did anyone else notice?

Believe me Panzer, when it got going in the Kippax, it was a great chant.
But if you don't like it, fair enough.

This was my first ever trip to the Etihad. I had been to Maine Road on a few occasions and was always impressed by the atmosphere there. One move to a new stadium later and once again we’re visiting a soulless modern day arena. It is hardly surprising when there is a stage outside with band performing and all sorts of food stands and shops. I had to double check that I had not turned up at a NFL match at Wembley! Sorry City, you just embarrassed yourselves and have lost the awesome place that you previously held in my mind.
As for the Palace. Again we were raved about by the press and City fans alike, however, I still think that it was something missing. Perhaps it was just a Palace goal on this occasion or perhaps it was the layout of the away end that prevented an epic atmosphere, however, once again ‘could do better’ is my assessment... even if it seems a little harsh.

atmosphere was terrible yesterday, yet the Liverpool game it was brilliant. everyone singing in the concourse before and at half time, singing all the way through the 90 min. yet yesterday, concourse was quiet and so were the stands. as for palace fans, our fans at away games have been miles better than them. not special on their part, same song over and over and over and over and over again. then loads of silent moments, yet they sing all the time, dick heads
