WELL DONE CITY

can we stop with the "unlucky" talk please, it's the talk of losers. If we're going to go down that road then we must say our goal was lucky. Just cut it out, we didn't do enough to get a result, that's the end of it.

Thought we shaded it overall and genuinely bossed them at times, which I have virtually never seen us do there. Really liked the way Mancini set us up, a really nice balance between defence and attack. If we play like that we have a good chance at Chelsea and should beat Liverpool. I know we lost but I don't see what we could have done about that winner and city fans who can't take positives from today's match need their heads read IMO. I am sure they will once the hurt has faded.

I for one was pleased with the performance of our lads, they showed determination in the midfield and our defence wasn't to bad I thought, just zab could of done better with nani and rooney shouldn't have been unmarked, just lacking on the shooting for us :/

... and lets be honest united looked rubbish today just a shame we got beat and I'm glad the derby is over and I can have a lie down :P

ERRR, we actually lost.

True, and the sad truth is we rarely looked like winning. It wasn't our worst performance but we still lack that little something that separates winners from second best.

fag - what the fook

Been with this club for soo fookin long dont ever fookin question my fookin loyalties - watched some fookin shit over the last 30 years can remember fookin tears in my eyes coming home from Wembley in 81

Simple fact is that each and every time we have a game that could change things for us - be it Hamburg - be it quarter final of the cup at COMs against West Ham all those years ago - be it Carling Cup last season against the rags be it Spuds last year for a CL spot guess fookin what - we fooked it up - oh yes we was all proud but we fooked it up none the less - went home feeling so proud - typical City was the theme then and to a albeit lesser extend the Typical City tag is still relevent

Loosing to the fookin rag hurts sorry wanker but it fookin hurts - there are a very few times i rant but loosing on Derby day fookin kills me - obviously the same cant be said for you

Bet ya soooo fookin proud

insted of wanking yourself stupid with negativity try getting behind your team

i only wank when we win - guess you must wanlk at any excuse

You can sense the fear in the rag fans comments, they know we will do them eventually, give it one more year and we will be there.

Don't lose faith now!!

Did you copy and paste that from a post after last year's OT derby?

Getting sick of all this 'we're getting there' bollocks.

I'll believe it when we actually achieve something. Talk is cheap.

probably the best game City has played...

sometimes you need luck to win games, and united is blessed with a lot of luck

also, Ferguson is the best manager that has ever lived and as soon he's gone I don't see United pulling out numbers like they did for the past 15 years...

City just needs to stick to its plan and continue to do more teamwork

eventually things will come

can't believe sum of the negative, though we played well but didn't get the result we wanted,if we play like that every game we will more than lose.

I was more than proud of my team today . They went there heads held high and should leave the same way . Everyone expected us to be all defensive but we attacked the rags and went at them and should have scored more . We were a real threat and I could not give you one player that played badly . Thought the defence was brilliant , milner , barry and yaya did well in the middle . They won the ball and retained it well . All praise though has to go to david silva , he is an absolute genius , the way he moves around the pitch and can pick a pass . We dominated that game today , in possesion and everything else , and are more than unlucky to be leaving with nothing as we deserved at least a draw . But my team showed they are quality today , they can unpick any defence and were fantastic , but we were undone by an unstoppable , well executed goal. I can go anywhere with my head held high , we are a fantastic team and in the future , will achieve greatness. I am proud of Manchester City today , showed we are a good team and can go anywhere and play OUR game .If we go into every game playing like that , with that mentality and belief , we can win any game and any competition.
