Just booked the Hilton myself.I looked at cheaper hotels but some at £125 or more had mixed reviews. At least the Hilton is safe and clean and so close it is worth the extra dosh i think unless on a tight budget.

I have the option to upgrade to the executive suite for another £35[if one is available] anyone know if this is worth it?

We didn't bother with the upgrades but fell lucky with the rooms. I called them on the Friday and requested rooms with interconnecting doors. They managed it and the bonus was a Wembley view from the fifth floor, happydays.

I have to say what a refreshing change to stay in a place which actively welcomes football supporters. I recommend the Hilton wholeheartedly.

Cheers mate it was just convenient and close.Say getting out of the ground at 8pm ish i didn't want to hike miles or queue for trains, just flop out somewhere close. What are the bar prices like in there?

About the same as inside the ground a fiver a pint, outside of that I can't help. Sorry.
I was thinking about staying again for the final but its a bit more expensive with it being a Saturday and for the guys I'm going with it's outside their budget.

8 of us booked into Heathrow Central Travelodge for the Saturday night. we wanted to go to Uxbridge again but prices of rooms have gone up and put it out of reach. Heathrow is currently at £32 per room and about 20-30mins on tube to Wembley.

went to a pub called the fusilier mate, about a 15 min walk, their rooms were £40 a night (had big sign up advertising them)

decent place as well

This place is a decent watering hole but I wouldn't stop there, £40 is for a single room they wanted £114 for a double(read reviews on trip adviser), you can book the Ibis Hotel at the side of Wembley Stadium for £135 but you will probably have to book quick.

Its a room FFS.

each to their own, no need to swear

Point is it is a room. Not like you would be doing anything but sleep in it after a day out on the beer and a cup final

10 of us booked in the Quality inn Wembley, £135 for a double room but well worth it. Five minutes walk from the stadium and we are getting to know the bar staff pretty well who stayed open way past their hours :)

Nice Chinese and indian just up the road and a great little cafe for the morning.

Cannot wait !!

I booked a family room for the missus, me and our son for the £145.

I told the missus we paid £95 and she was horrified at that lower price.

P. S. How are you going to fit 10 people into one room ;-)
