On 7.45 coach now leaving Charlton st Coach station get Wembley about 12,15
I am on 10.14 train from Picc. to London Euston. Not left home yet.

For the semi-final, I didn't think there were many blues travelling down from Manc. but I think there will be more for the final because there will be many more season ticket holders going, and I feel they might be a bigger proportion of them who live in and around Manchester? I don't have a good idea about that.

I have been down to London by coach before. Heading down OK, but I found it a long wait to get out of the Wembley coach station.

I am assuming that you go from London to Manc and then onto Wigan. I can only speak about Euston to Manchester Picc. If you are doing this there are 3 coaches with unreserved seats C, G and U, and these are rammed. When you arrive at Euston and look for the trains back, it won't say what platform the train leaves for until the last moment, and literally hundreds then sprint to board the train. First come, first served.

This time it should be much better because it's a Saturday, and it's a 3pm KO and I think that means that there will be less of a scrum for the trains back i.e., City fans will have more trains to choose from
It’s a direct train from Euston to Wigan north western , stops at Crewe and Warrington as well

I’m with my old dad so I’ll have to sprint for the unreserved carriage and let him know where to find me when he makes it

Oh, you might be OK then. I am just familiar with direct trains to Manc Picc. which are very busy.

On these, they leave it until the last moment to announce the platform when boarding and its a race. Perhaps for the Wigan trains it will be more leisurely. I would check on your outward bound journey what the unreserved carriage numbers are. You could ask at the enquiries hall in Euston. It might not be C,G,U because the train could be smaller if it goes from Euston to Wigan.

Sorry, I think I misled you with my first comment as I wasn't aware how you get from Euston to Wigan.

On the 7:04 from Stockport (obviously). Buzzin for this, come on you Old Sky Blues!

I also went down to Semi Final on Coach
The coach I’m on now is due to leave Wembley at 8 that must be because of extra time and so you can see your team lift the cup if they win get back in Manchester at 12 long day but at least the Coach is reable

Quite a few decent pubs around Marylebone, went in one or two the before the semi final, can recommend the coach makers arms.https://www.marylebonevillage.com/food-and-drink#pubs
Lots of pubs round here. But will be mostly Chelsea. Some pubs will stop City fans in colours if they are full of Chelsea. Very quick to Wembley via the train from Marylebone though. Just 10 mins.
