Royaloak said:Just had it confirmed from the outfit who I'm hiring a coach from that City will be on the M6-M1 route and Utd on the M6-M40 route. No coaches with fans on will be able to stop at services until after the junction of the M6-M42. Corley and Watford Gap are likely to be the busiest Services for us. Also been told that any coaches with pissed up or 'rowdy' fans will be turned back under police escort.
if that's the case can't they send the rag busses:stonie said:Royaloak said:Just had it confirmed from the outfit who I'm hiring a coach from that City will be on the M6-M1 route and Utd on the M6-M40 route. i went into our coach firm to pay off my balance this morning and thay still not been informed of any specific route,i also spoke to the copper that is dealing with the city coaches on thurday as i wanted to know about the meeting that they had with the metropoliton police about this fixture,he is a sound bloke and said to be honest they dont really know how to police it as its an unprecedented fixture,as of this thursday gone they still were not sure if specific routes would be asigned as coaches for both teams would be comming from other parts of the country and not just manchester,so if this information is true then they must of had a quick decission on friday...i hope this route is true as its going to ruin the stop over we have booked...i await for conformation,,oh by the way the copper in charge of the the rag busses is a blue too as i spoke to him by mistake on my initial enquiry ....good man
