Wenger wants Given or Hart

Arsenal fan here, and I would say keep Given and give us Hart as a thank you for us giving you Ade & Toure. But in all honesty, Given is a glorified shot stopper, he lacks in few areas and I would rather us give Schwarzer 1 season and then let Schezny take over as he will be our nr 1 for many years

Given is still better than any goalkeeper you have. :)

Both Arsenals keepers are worse than any other teams in the top 10. FACT.

Its the main reason why you have struggled the last few seasons to win anything. So many goals let in by stupid mistakes.

The thing is you can count the number of champions league quality keepers in the prem on your hand, which is why top keepers keep their value so well, why given is kicking off before the season even starts.

Personally I am more than happy with Given as backup, we dont need the money the problem is he seems to be disruptive when hes not happy - at Newcastle and now at city so if his going to be a dick for the sake of a couple of seasons being top dog fine he can go to Arsenal for £8 million we paid for him good for all parties.

I would agree I think Given is overrated, as you say great shot-stopper(world-class), but some areas of his game are simply brutal. As for anyone you already have, I don't see enough of them to comment.

Purely on age/potential we would have to keep Hart. However one area Hart was lacking was his command of the 6 yard box considering he's a tall lad, hopefully that side of his game has improved while he was at Brum.

Im sure there are some forum members in here that are better than the two clowns we have, that doesnt say much. But we do have a 20 year old kid called Schezny, he really is a talented keeper, and I do think he will be our nr 1 very soon, and we proberly get Schwarzer as a safety options, he is reliable and experienced.

According to the Metro - Wenger has enquired about buying Given or Hart.

I personally would tell him to do one, but if you had to chose one, who would you keep?

I would stick with Hart and send Shay out on loan (but with a clause for a recall).

Given would never go out on loan at this stage of his career but if we were going to sell one of them it has to be Shay (age).

Hart is our future but there's no way he can handle where we are going just yet - there's a reason he was third choice at the WC. Keeping is all about experience and confidence; he's got confidence oozing from every orifice at the moment but last season he had no pressure.

It's a chicken and egg scenario but in my opinion he needs to impress in the cup and the times when he's called upon this season, feed off Shay's experience and before he knows it he'll be more famous than Casillas.

So to answer the question...... "Fook off Arse"

It's obviously a no brainer. Given is a very good keeper but Joe Hart will be this countries best goalkeep for the next 15 year. Anybody who thinks he is going to be allowed to leave is nuts:

Wenger: Excuse me Mr Al Mubarak. Is there any chance we could maybe.....
Khaldoon: Don't....Even...Go there.
Wenger: Sorry Mr Al Mubarak. Sorry Sir, Sorry.
