Wenger wants Given or Hart

You definately wont be getting Hart. Mancini has said he will be number one this season hence all this talk.

Hart is 1 year into a 5 year deal wont be going anywhere this summer. I could see Given going to you for what we paid £8 million is what he will cost you.

where and when did he say this? good news, but i must have managed to miss it.

Seconded. I dont remember Mancini saying that

I like Given, good guy and a good leader, but Hart is my number 1. Also, I have seen clips of David Gonzalez and he looks like he is a pretty solid number 3 and even maybe a number 2, after watching what Taylor did last year. I would take Hart, Gonzalez and Nielsen. I know there is little experience aside from Hart but I would like to see Nielsen hit the field and give him his chance.

I think we'd be foolish to release either

Hart for me has POTENTIAL to be best for years to come, but still think he aint finished article.

I'd choose Hart to start but Shay hot on his heels and playing in all non prem games

Well one of em aint going to be content on the bench so keep Hart and swap Given for Sagna or that dutch twat

If Hart is so good why didn't he start in the WC? If Given was English do you think David James would have started ahead of him? Mancini has labelled Given top 5 in the world. Hart's a good keeper with lots of potential but hasn't got the experience yet to be resting our champions league qualification and potential title hopes on. Given our no.1 for the league for me, Hart for the cups.

I think you would find very very few people in the country that would start James over Hart, but sadly one of them happens to be manager of the national team.

Purely on age/potential we would have to keep Hart. However one area Hart was lacking was his command of the 6 yard box considering he's a tall lad, hopefully that side of his game has improved while he was at Brum.

Totally agree, I remember being scared to death sometimes when a ball came into the 6 yard box and Hart was playing but the odd Birmingham game I saw last season he seemed to have improved dramatically in this area.

Joe Hart should be our number one.

Does what Given does just as well, but can command his area a bit better and his distribution is better. And he's only young so will only improve with each game

joe has everything except experience, his decision making is below par, when he gets that right he has every tool in the box.
