Wenger - "we can't compete with a nation state"

Since when has Abu Dhabi been a nation-state? A nation maybe but a state no.

They are a component part of the United Arab Emirates along with Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain.

Is that last one called Al Quwain and you couldn't remember it, or ..... Errrm....... Umm al Quwain?

8 pages, quoted article and still everyone thinks it was Moanger who actually said this, lol

Who cares, Wenger is still a ****.

I thought we had risen a little above this by now.

Can we not be a little bit fairer to Arsene Wenger. YES; he is very selective in what he sees. YES; he often uses money as an excuse for Arsenal's lack of titles of late. BUT; this guy has contributed a huge amount to the success of the EPL and the way football is played here today. For years Arsenal were the team that i looked forward to watching if City weren't on the box. His teams played beautiful football.....something the guy is clearly passionate about. .Of course he is now somewhat frustrated that we have taken over the mantle of the Kings of beautiful, exciting football.

We are incredibly lucky to have the quality of Owners and investment we have now. They have set the standard for operating a Football club with vision, dignity and class. We and the rest of the football world are watching our team play some of the best Football on the Planet! I think our owners would love to see their philosophy taken on board by City fans.

I've had a good long think about what you have said and I still think he's a ****.

Ozil £42m

Fernandinho £30m

Demichelis £3.8m

Jovetic £22m

Negredo £16.4m

Navas £14.9m

No doubting whos paid over the odds in last summers spending,do you think its city and chelseas fault that Arsenal allowed their best players to run down their contracts to a point which gave the players a get out option in the distance rather than be proactive and negotiate improved terms when their contracts fall under 2 years left?
Is it City or Chelseas fault that Arsenal has only the bottom line as its primary interest to the absolute detriment of the supporters who now have to pay through the nose in a stadium devoid of atmosphere due to pricing out the working class section of their support?
Did Arsenal give any thought to the future of the also rans when they were negotiating the Premier League and champions league cash cows, which theyve been fortunate to milk from and they like to call such monies as "earned"?
Did Arsenal give any thought to those not in the clique when they were negotiating their financial trough and what the outcome was likely to be when they set the ball rolling?
It seems very churlish to moan about the outcome of something that Arsenal was at the forefront of instigating in the first place
Its like having a shit and moaning because it stinks
Cant abide Arsenal

He is just having a cry. " we have done really well this season and we still can't shake off City". City are stronger than us and are getting better every week, what can i do". I know i will try and put pressure on them through the press and also give us an excuse for paying me 600 million a year and fleecing are own fans with extortionate ticket prices. "Even City's stadium and training facilities will be better than our soon, and they have hundreds of the best talent scouts in world football. Cry Cry Cry, its not Fare!
