Bang on. FFPR will dictate that they can compete with us if they chose too. They can raise more commercial revenue, they already raise more from match days, they're well placed in London to tap into a lot of wealth - They just won't.

Exactly. FFP has completely failed to address regional differences. Arsenal can charge the prices they do due to what amounts to no more than an accident of geography. Before football became such a corporate cash cow, the London clubs generated similar matchday revenue when compared to their Northern and Midlands counterparts. These days though, there are numerous companies in the capital that would be falling over themselves to shell out big money for exec packages at The Emirates, WHL, or Stamford Bridge. Not even United and Liverpool, with their huge global support, can charge what Arsenal do.
